FASH 253 - Media Communications in the Fashion Industry


The fundamentals and methods of communication will be analyzed. Contemporary and future issues regarding the fashion industry and the role played by special events, publications, television, film, and the internet will be examined. The course will create the foundation for a career in corporate fashion departments involved in communications, public relations, advertising, television, product placement, consumer affairs, environmental and employee relations.

Prerequisite: FASH 105-Fashion Fundamentals, FASH 245-Fashion Writing
