MRKT 4960 - Marketing Senior Capstone (6CR) (Amended 10/10/2017 - Effective Fall 2017)Marketing, Management & Finance
This capstone course builds on prior courses in marketing, management, and related fields. Students will develop a comprehensive written marketing plan that demonstrates their knowledge of marketing theory and practice. Particular emphasis will be placed on decision-making based on strategic marketing analysis. Through readings and case analyses, students will be able to explore strategic marketing options in order to optimize product planning, competitive positioning, brand strategy, pricing, promotion and distribution. Additionally, students will consider issues such as corporate social responsibility, ethics, technological advancements, as well as opportunities for global growth in their marketing plan analyses. Marketing plans will be presented to the members of the College community and invited guests at the conclusion of the semester.
